It owns Argentina's largest brewery, Quinsa. Ambev was formed in 1999 by the merger of Brazil's largest beverage companies, Brahma and Antarctica. In 2004, Ambev joined Canadian brewer Labatt, giving Interbrew (now Anheuser-Busch InBev) a controlling interest.
