Banco da Amazônia S.A. is a mixed-capital financial institution, controlled by the Federal Government, which acts as the main financial agent for the development of Amazônia Legal. The bank offers a portfolio of commercial banking products and services for individuals and legal entities, including commercial credit, rural and real estate finance, and microcredit. Its main mission is to promote sustainable development in the region and is the sole operator of the Northern Constitutional Fund (FNO). Through the FNO, the institution directs resources to various productive sectors, focusing on mini, micro and small entrepreneurs, in addition to family farming. Banco da Amazônia has a service network of over 120 branches in the nine states of Amazônia Legal, as well as units in São Paulo and Brasília.
