Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A. (Banese) is a mixed-capital financial institution, controlled by the Government of the State of Sergipe, with principal operations in the state. The bank offers a portfolio of banking products and services, including credit operations (commercial and development, such as real estate and rural), raising funds via deposits (cash, savings, term, court) and financial bills, and financial investments. Banese acts as the local government's main financial agent. The Banese conglomerate also includes Mulvi Payment Institution (Banese Card operator and buyer), Loterias de Sergipe (LOTESE) and Banese Insurance Broker.
