Companhia de Gás de São Paulo (Comgas) is a piped natural gas distributor operating under a concession contract. Its main business is gas distribution to various consumer segments, including industrial, residential, commercial, automotive, thermal and cogeneration. The company's concession area covers approximately 180 municipalities in the state of São Paulo, including Greater São Paulo. Company revenue is generated from the sale and distribution of gas within that designated geographic area. Comgas serves both the captive market and Mercado Livre clients, where they negotiate the purchase of gas directly with suppliers, but use the company's distribution infrastructure.
