CSN Mineração S.A. is the second largest iron ore exporter in Brazil, extracting, processing and selling the product. The company's business model is based on fully integrated logistics, connecting operations from mine to shipment. Its mining assets include the Casa de Pedra mine and its interest in the Namisa mines, both located in the Quadrilátero Ferrífero, in Minas Gerais. The production flows through its participation in the MRS railroad, which transports the ore to its port terminal. The company owns and operates Tecar, a captive iron ore terminal in Rio de Janeiro's Itaguaí Port. Most of its production is destined for the foreign market, with a main focus on the Asian continent.
