ENGIE Brasil Energia S.A. is the largest private power generation company in Brazil, with integrated operations in other links in the energy chain. The company operates an extensive and diversified generator park, composed mostly of renewable sources such as hydroelectric, wind, solar and biomass. In the transmission segment, the company owns and operates thousands of kilometers of power lines. Through its membership in Transportadora Associada de Gás (TAG), ENGIE also operates in the natural gas transportation segment, controlling the largest pipeline network in the country. Additionally, the company is one of the main energy marketers in the Free Contracting Environment (ACL).
