Equatorial Pará

Equatorial Pará is the power distribution utility in the state of Pará and a subsidiary of Grupo Equatorial Energia. Its business model focuses on electricity distribution, operating under a public service concession contract regulated by ANEEL. The company has a wide area of activity and is responsible for the supply of electricity to all 144 municipalities in the state. Its operations serve millions of residential, industrial, commercial and rural consumer units. The company's main activities include operating, maintaining, and expanding the power grid, including substations and distribution lines. Formerly known as Pará Power Plants (CELPA), the company was privatized and is now one of the largest energy distribution groups in the country.
