Neoenergia is an integrated Brazilian energy company with operations in energy generation, transmission, distribution and sale. The company organizes its business into two main segments: Networks, which encompasses distribution and transmission assets, and Generation and Customers, which include mills and the dealer. In the distribution segment, Neoenergia serves over 16 million consumers through its five utilities. Its network operation also includes building and operating a portfolio of transmission lines in several regions of the country. The Generation segment has a diversified generator park, with hydroelectric, wind, solar and thermal power plants. The company completes its business model by selling energy in the free market.
