Rumo S.A. is the largest railway-based logistics operator in Brazil, offering rail transport, port lifting and warehousing services. The company operates approximately 14,000 km of rail lines through four concessions, which form its main business operations: North, South, Central and Container. Its network connects the main commodity producing regions of Midwest and South Brazil to the ports of Santos, Paranaguá, São Francisco do Sul and Rio Grande. The transport of agricultural products, such as grains and sugar, makes up most of the volume moved. In addition to rail operations, Rumo has a stake in six port terminals and operates container terminals, integrating its logistics chain from inland to export.
