Embpar Participacoes S.A. is a Brazilian holding company based in Rio Negrinho, Santa Catarina. Its main activity consists of participation in other companies. Through its subsidiary Battistella Indústria e Comércio Ltda., the company industrialized and traded wood and its derivatives, but it discontinued its activities in the sawn timber market, currently focusing on the sale of remaining stocks. Another subsidiary, Jaspe Imobiliais S.A., manages and administers real estate. The operating segments reflect the activities of these subsidiaries in the wood products and property management sectors.
